Urgent and important are distinctly different concepts.  Important is defined as of great significance or value: likely to have a profound effect on success, survival, or well-being. Urgent means requiring immediate action or attention. For most people urgent trumps important and important gets put on the back burner.  And when important sits on the back burner long enough, it turns into urgent.  And thus, the cycle keeps repeating and you end up with a daunting to-do list of things that must be done right now!

Cars need oil changes, dogs need to go for grooming, heater filters need changing, child well-check appointments need to be booked.  These things are important.  But they often take a backseat to urgent things like the dog ate a stick and needs to go to the vet, the kids need to bring cupcakes to school tomorrow and decided to tell you at 8pm on Sunday night, you have a deadline at work that was just pushed up by three days, your kids needs a form signed by the pediatrician for sports asap, the washer is leaking, the heater is broken and on and on and on.If you are always focused on the urgent, you spend your days reacting to life as it throws curveballs your way.

What if there was a better way to manage those curveballs? There is. Happy to Help can handle both your important and your urgent. By managing the important, it doesn’t turn into urgent.  And less urgent means more time to do what you love.
